Financial Literacy

In light of the State of Qatar's vision 2030, which seeks to build a strong national economy based on knowledge, and with regard to Qatar Stock Exchange's mission to raise financial and investment awareness in the State, especially among high school's and University's students, to realize the vision of our beloved country in the economic domain. For that, it is our pleasure to inform you that the Marketing and Communications department in QSE organizes visits for the students to the stock exchange building to watch the trading screens, brokerage firms and investors' hall in addition to holding free-of-charge awareness sessions on investment in both languages (Arabic and English). The awareness sessions include both theoretical and practical parts as well as a competition on trading simulation between students about investing in the stock market and distribute some souvenirs for the winners to motivate them to achieve the desired goal of the awareness program.

QSE Financial Education Competition

QSE has launched in 2019 what we believe is an important initiative in financial education. This initiative includes the annual research competition for students of all colleges of business administration, economics and finance in the State of Qatar, where the competition calls on students to carry out research on a specific topic chosen by QSE and to provide a detailed analysis and appropriate recommendations. According to the terms of the competition, students submit and present their research results to an independent judges panel consisting of a distinguished group of judges with great experience in the financial and economic field, in a major ceremony held annually. The first edition of this competition was held in March 2019 with the participation of seven teams from six universities, and the winners of the first three places:
